Bob Johnson, Our Founder

 

Bob Johnson founded The Spirit of Christmas charity in 1979 to fight the despair that can be found even during the most joyous time of the year.  He founded the society with the motto of  "Loving, Caring and Sharing" which summarizes our goals so well.  These are action words and Bob's ideas always generated plenty of action.  In fact, we are sure that on Christmas Eve, if you listen very carefully, you can hear someone trying to reorganize the heavenly host to sing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".  

 

Getting Involved

Thanks for your interest in the Magic of Christmas. As a not-for profit registered charitable organization, we provide many services to Calgarians in need during the holiday season. To provide these services, we recruit the assistance of various corporate/organizational sponsors, private citizens, and countless volunteers. With your help, we can extend our message to this wider audience! This ensures that all people needing our services know how to access us, and benefactors know how they can help.
