Christmas Eve at home

We visit hundreds of people on Christmas Eve, many of whom have just arrived in Calgary and have missed the cutoff date of other charitable groups' holiday assistance.  There are many reasons why a family can need a special lift at Christmas - financial concerns, recent illness / death in the family, or recent job loss / other major family crisis.

We bring laughter, song and hugs as well as gifts, necessities and referrals to other wonderful support groups in our community.   We operate in Calgary, Cochrane, Airdrie, and some varying rural routes. 

We accept referrals from schools, social agencies, and other third party organizations. To suggest a family or individual that may need a Christmas visit, please call the Workshop at 803-1619.

Christmas Eve away from home

We also visit hundreds of people who find themselves in a hospital, nursing home, or shelter on Christmas Eve.  We bring a little joy of the season to their bedside through song, hugs and small gifts.  And you thought you could hide from Santa.....

Random acts of merriment

Santa's Sleighs have been known to take advantage of a red light to spread a little Christmas joy wherever it may happen.  You should see the look on a family's faces when Santa and his elves descend upon their car to sing a joyful carol! Keep your eyes open...
